Twig
Fall 2012/ Winter 2013
A two-quarter project, Twig is a culmination of everything I have learned studying New Media Interactive Development. The result of the collaboration between 9 designers and developers, Twig is a tool that helps users not only grow plants, but teaches them how to properly care for their plants. The mobile app makes heavy use of Arduino technology, Backbone.js, PHP, HTML, and CSS3, to deliver an engaging experience, that (we hope) changes the way plant-care is viewed.
I wore both hats for the development of Twig; while working on the functionality for the app, I also designed what would become the final logo for Twig.
